How Does Island Fresh Work:

Island Fresh is a Maui company who buys over 10,000 pounds of produce from the local farms a month. We deliver variety boxes of fruit and veggies to our customers' homes and offices around the island. We also will shop Mana Foods, Whole Foods, Down to Earth, Costco, Foodland, Safeway, for your regular grocery needs and delivery them “Free of Charge” as long as you meet the minimum order amount of $75.00 including your Produce box.

What comes in the box?

We buy from various farmers located within Hawaii. The boxes include a mix of local fruits and vegetables, Natural or Organically grown, (NO GMO) based on what is in season. We almost always include about 2 heads of lettuce, and a weekly herb such as basil, mint, green onion, garlic, ginger, and more. Common fruits include Mango, Apple Bananas, Strawberries, Papaya, Watermelon, Pineapple, Honeydew, Cantaloupe, Tangerine, Orange, Lemon, Lime and more. Common veggies include Broccoli, Corn, Zucchini, Avocado, Cucumber, Carrots, Radish, Maui Onion, String Beans, Tomato, Bell Pepper, Eggplant, Kale, and more!

When and where do you deliver?

Wednesdays 10am – 6pm: Kula, Pukalani, Makawao, Haiku, Paia, Kahului, Wailuku
Thursdays 10am – 6pm: Lahaina, Kaanapali, Napili, Kahana, Kapalua
Fridays 10am – 6pm: Kihei, Makena, Wailea
Saturdays 10am – 6pm: By appointment

You can also choose weekly or bi-weekly delivery.

Is there a delivery fee?

There is no delivery fee or membership fee. However when ordering regular groceries there is a minimum order of $75.00 including your produce box.

What should I do with my empty box?

Recycle & Re-use! On the day of your next scheduled delivery, simply, leave the box you received from your previous delivery outside for us to pick-up. Our delivery driver will give you a new box with your order.

Can I cancel if I don't like it?

Yes, you can cancel at any time. Please let us know “2” days prior to your delivery area day if you have a delivery scheduled that week because we place our order on Monday’s from local farms. See delivery schedule above.

How do payments work?

As a policy, we use a debit or credit card for payments. M/C, Visa, AMX, We charge all cards on Tuesday before delivery for that week only. You can cancel at anytime without fees or commitment. Using a card allows us to keep the service at a great value and expedite the service. With grocery order you pay when the order is placed with our secure site. How do I redeem a gift certificate or coupon code?

Easy. Simply go shopping, place items in your shopping basket and enter the code in the box upon check out. The value will be applied to your order.

What is the difference between the regular and organic plan?

The regular plan is about 80% organic and the regular size box is about 15+ pounds of produce. In the organic only plan you receive a little less produce but it is all organic and the plan is the same price.

Can I customize the box?

If there are particular items you want to receive in your box, be sure to tell us! We have a "Like" and "Don't Like" list for each customer. If you know that you love to get kale for example, let us know and you will receive more kale whenever we have it available! You can say you want 75% fruit, all veggie, 2 heads lettuce, and more! What is the fresh produce guarantee?

We work very hard to provide high quality produce which is often picked within 24 hours of delivery. If for any reason you receive produce that is not fresh, we will provide replacement items or a discount on your next delivery. Your satisfaction is a priority for us!

What if I am not home for delivery?

If you are going to be gone for a few hours, you can leave out a cooler and ice pack. The delivery driver will put the produce into the cooler to keep it nice and fresh.

I ordered a box and thought it should have been delivered. Where’s my box?

If you placed your order before our deadline for the week, 2 days prior to the delivery schedule day (see above) then you will be included in the upcoming week’s delivery schedule. If you placed your order past the deadline, your order will not arrive until the following week. You can always log in to your account and look at your delivery schedule to see what day you are scheduled. If you have received email confirmation that your box is expected to be delivered on that day, please be mindful of our delivery times as noted above.
